Human Services Club Organizes Large Donation for Southbridge Elementary Students

The Human Services Club spent last semester coming up with donations for elementary school children in Southbridge. The items of focus included jackets, hats, gloves, boots, hygiene supplies and Christmas toys for those most in need.
"The students behind the leadership of Club President Mayra Marquez knocked it out of the park. They found over 50 winter jackets, dozens of winter boots, gloves, snow pants. Over 100 unwrapped Christmas gifts and enough hygiene supplies for every child in need. It was a true blessing after listening to the hardships these youngsters face in their day-to-day lives," said Associate Professor of Human Services Anthony Yeulenski.
