Enrollment Steps

Apply for Certificate or Degree Program Acceptance

[For Guest Student or Individual Classes (without applying to a program for a certificate or degree), please visit Enrolling in Individual Courses]

A. Apply to the College


B. Submit required proof of high school completion (one of the documents listed below) to the Admissions Document Center. Please note that some programs require additional criteria. Visit QCC's Academics for additional information.

Note: Graduating Seniors: Please submit your Final High School Transcript by June 30 to remain in your college's program acceptance and class registration.  


C. Fill out the FAFSA

Register for Classes 

New QCC Students

Once you are accepted into your program, you will receive an email from the Academic Advising Office to discuss course(s) placement and registration.

Prior/Returning QCC Students

Please contact the Advising Center at advising [at] qcc.mass.edu or 508.854.4308 for course(s) placement and registration.

Please be sure to submit your High School (HS) transcript for course placement review by the Advising Center. U.S. High School GPA of 2.7 or higher may qualify students to place into College level English and Math courses.

Note: If you have graduated within the last 10 years, an Advisor will ask you for your final high school transcript and/or college transcript.  If you graduated more than 10 years ago, it is not necessary to have your high school transcript when communicating with the Advising Center.
