QCC Campus Photo

Welcome to Wyvern Nation!

We are so excited to welcome you to the QCC Family!

The Orientation Program at QCC includes three categories:

  1. Online Orientation
  2. Wyvern Summit Days
  3. Welcome Week

Online Orientation

Provides the ultimate virtual onboarding experience.

In each section, you will learn more about QCC, the many services we offer our students, and how you will succeed in all your goals and dreams. We will introduce you to the QCC family and the West Boylston Campus, where most campus-wide programs and events are held.

ALL new students and those returning after 2 years or more are expected to complete the online orientation.

It is a self-paced module that can be taken on any device and takes about 1 hour to complete. After completion, students will have full access to review the material at any time throughout their QCC career.

You will use your QCC email, provided to you in your Acceptance Letter, or in an email to your personal account at the time of your acceptance.

Your password is the provided password to your email [also found in the above mentioned methods] or, if you have already updated your password please use the new one to log in to the online orientation

If you do not know your email address or password, please reach out to Information Technology Service Desk by phone at 508.854.4427 or by email at help [at] qcc.mass.edu. Further contact information and the West Boylston location can be found by visiting the help section.

Wyvern Summit Days

Students will have the opportunity to have questions answered and better understand QCC technology, academic success, campus resources and services, and campus life outside of the classroom.

This is an optional choose-your-own Wyvern Adventure orientation on the West Boylston Campus. Completing the online orientation is expected and if you'd like a more hands-on experience too, then this program is for you!

There will be four sessions you can choose from. The topics are the top areas students have told us can be difficult to navigate. To best serve you we have come together as a community to provide you time to hear from the experts at QCC. That's not all, if you have time between sessions or would like to schedule your appointments during Summit Days there will be peer leaders to help you find your way around campus and various offices ready to welcome you.

What to expect at Summit Days:

  • Become a part of a unique, supportive community of students, faculty, and staff.
  • Be introduced to resources and opportunities available for growth and success.
  • Meet new and returning QCC students.
  • Become familiar with the campus buildings, resources, and services.

You will leave feeling a part of the QCC community and prepared to begin the next phase of your education.

Registration will open on June 5, 2023.

Wyvern Welcome Week [W3]

The Office of Student Life and Leadership collaborates with the campus community at the start of each semester to create the Welcome Week experience.

This week-long programming initiative is to support our new and returning students in engaging with the QCC family outside the classroom to build a sense of belonging! We encourage you to take full advantage of Welcome Week and enjoy the various programs that QCC offers!

The types of programs, workshops, and fun activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Wyvern Welcome Tent | Have your questions answered, spin the trivia wheel for a prize, and walk away with FREE QCC swag!
  • Craft & DIY Creations | Grab and Go or Stay and Make! A variety of options are offered throughout the year.
  • Ticket Sales | Discounted tickets. Transportation is not included.
  • QLA Information Sessions | Learn how you can maximize your strengths by taking the StrengthsFinder assessment.
  • Student Government Association (SGA) Information Sessions | Learn how you can be a part of QCC Governance and truly be the voice of the student body.

The Wyvern Adventure Continues!

A sense of belonging is a large part of success at QCC. That's why we are the QCC Family!

When an individual can bring their authentic self to their educational community, then the community can thrive.

As a new student who is looking for community among their peers then let the adventure continue.

The first annual Wyvern Adventure will take place throughout Wyvern Welcome Week and the theme will be announced in August on Wyvern Connect!
