Meet the Student Affairs Team

Terry Vecchio, Ed.D.

Dean of Students

The Dean of Students provides advocacy for all students, as well as supporting student learning inside and outside the classroom environments. The Dean of Students oversees all Student Affairs departments.

Assistant Dean of Students

The Assistant Dean of Students oversees the student conduct process while providing support for the student learning process. The Assistant Dean is able to support students through their challenges and will assist students in navigating the campus community.

The Administrative Assistant supports the Dean and the mission of the student life department.

Director of Athletics and Athletic Center

The Athletics Center staff provides the best place on campus for wellness and recreation through the Fitness Center, gym, and intramural and intercollegiate sports. The six intercollegiate sports include men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s soccer, baseball, and women’s volleyball.

Director of Counseling and Wellness
The Office of Counseling and Wellness Services helps students to achieve their personal and academic goals by providing an assessment of current concerns, appropriate advocacy/support, information about resources or coping skills/tools, and transition to local or college-based resources when needed. Counseling and Wellness Services will provide short-term, solution-focused therapy, crisis intervention, and stress management training. The services are provided to students at no cost and are confidential.

The Office of Student Life and Leadership oversees New Student Orientation (NSO), the Wyvern Word, Student Government Association, and the Leadership Academy.

Parenting Student Navigator

Parenting Student Support Services is committed to helping students who are parents achieve their goals here at Quinsigamond Community College (QCC). QCC understands that being both a parent and a student presents its own unique set of challenges, and we are here to support you! Parenting Student Support Services provides assistance so that student parents can navigate QCC, get connected to campus and community resources, access child care and emergency funding, build community, and more.

Veteran Affairs provide support to assist student Veterans and members of the Armed Forces in the adjustment to becoming successful in civilian and college life. We are committed to promoting college spirit as well as establishing and maintaining fellowship amongst veterans and students on campus.

Manager of HomePlate Food Pantry & Resource Center

The HomePlate Food Pantry and Resource Center provides free food for students in need as well as other resources. The center can help with challenges such as applying for SNAP benefits as well as housing. We are run by knowledgeable, compassionate staff and work study students. If you are in need, please fill out the Food Pantry/Resource Center sign-up form. Once you’ve completed the sign-up you will receive instructions on when and how to pick up your food.

The Office of Student Life and Programming creates opportunities for every QCC student to feel engaged, connected, and supported as part of our community. Whether you want to start a club, host an event, or join campus activities, we’re here to help. Beyond social events, we support students in navigating their college experience, building meaningful connections, and accessing valuable resources. Our team is dedicated to ensuring every student feels a sense of belonging at QCC.

Coordinator of Phi Theta Kappa and SSMC

Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) is the official international honor society of two-year colleges. The Alpha Zeta Theta Chapter of PTK at QCC was founded in 1980 and provides opportunities for scholarship, leadership, and service to qualified students. 

The SSMC is located on the basement level of the administration building and serves as a space for all students to study, relax, and engage in various opportunities.
