President's Message

Thank you for choosing Quinsigamond Community College to begin or advance your education. Whether you are pursuing an Associate degree or career training certificate, I’m confident that QCC offers the faculty, staff and facilities to assist you in achieving your goals.

As a first generation college student myself, I understand the struggles that students may face in the pursuit of higher education. At QCC, you will not only receive a world-class education, but you will also receive the support that you need to succeed. Our small class size, as well as advising, tutoring, and other support mechanisms are in place to ensure that you receive the personalized attention and assistance you need to complete your education as efficiently as possible.

We live in a global economy, and QCC has positioned our academic programs and facilities to offer instruction that not only addresses today’s demands, but sets you on the path to gain the skills and knowledge for tomorrow’s economic needs. Our state-of-the-art QuEST (Quinsigamond Engineering, Science, and Technology) Center features high-tech lab and classroom space, and the only Fab Lab makerspace community located at a Massachusetts community college. Our Healthcare and Workforce Development Center in downtown Worcester provides advanced simulation environments for a number of healthcare programs, as well as customizable training opportunities for individuals and businesses. Convenient locations in Marlborough and Southbridge “shorten the distance” to higher education and provide access to members of those communities who might otherwise not be able to pursue a degree or certificate.

Finally, QCC offers over 115 degree and certificate programs, and hundreds of classes, that are completely available online. It’s never been more convenient or affordable to receive training anywhere that has an internet connection.

I look forward to seeing you on campus or online, and shaking your hand as you cross the stage at commencement!
