QCC Welcomes New Faculty and Staff

On April 4, 2022, External Affairs welcomed Cynthia Whitty as Grants Manager. Cynthia brings to this position several years of experience. Most recently, she worked providing management, marketing and communications services at Cynthia Whitty Communications. Cynthia has earned a bachelor’s degree from University of Massachusetts Amherst and a master’s degree from Simmons University.

On April 12, 2022, Administrative Services welcomed Rebeccah Cyr as Student Accounts Manager. Rebeccah brings to this position several years of experience. Most recently, she was a Senior Financial Aid Counselor here at Quinsigamond Community College. Rebeccah earned a bachelor’s degree from North Adams State College (now MCLA) and a master’s degree from Clark University.

On April 18, 2022, Administrative Services welcomed Larry Flowers as Campus Police Officer II- Detective. Larry brings to this position several years of experience. Most recently, he was a Campus Police Officer I here at Quinsigamond Community College. Larry earned a bachelor’s degree from University of Hawaii at Hilo and a master’s degree from Anna Maria College.

On April 18, 2022, Administrative Services welcomed Joseph Lazaros as Campus Police Officer I. Joseph is currently attending the QCC Police Academy and will be graduating this May. Joseph earned an associate degree from QCC.

On April 25, 2022, Administrative Services welcomed Nicholas Yacuzzi as Campus Police Officer II- (Community Resources Officer). Nicholas brings to this position several years of experience. Most recently, he was a Campus Police Officer I here at Quinsigamond Community College. Nicholas earned a Bachelor’s degree from Mount Ida College.

On May 2, 2022, Administrative Services welcomed Derek Mendes as Campus Police Officer I. Derek brings to this position several years of experience. Most recently, he was an Armed Security at Allied Universal Security. Derek earned a Bachelor’s degree from Worcester State University.

On May 9, 2022, Strategic Enrollment Development & Student Engagement welcomed Maegan Wright as Senior Financial Aid Special Coordinator. Maegan brings to this position several years of experience. Most recently, she worked as Associate Director of Financial Aid at Simmons University. Maegan has earned a Bachelor’s from The Art Institute of Boston and Master’s degree from Northeastern University.

On April 24, 2022, Administrative Services welcomed Anuj Nautiyal as IT Media Services Supervisor. Anuj brings to this position several years of experience. Most recently, he was an Audiovisual Equipment Technician II here at Quinsigamond Community College. Anuj earned a bachelor’s degree from UMASS Dartmouth, a master’s degree from UMASS Lowell and an MBA from Fitchburg State University.

On May 23rd, 2022, Administrative Services welcomed Anthony Simo as Campus Police Officer I. Anthony brings to this position several years of experience. Most recently, he was a Police Officer for the town of Barre. Anthony earned a bachelor’s degree from Anna Maria College and completed the Special State Police Officer Academy.

On May 23rd, 2022, Strategic Enrollment Development & Student Engagement welcomed Hailey Walker as Student Accessibility Services Coordinator. Hailey brings to this position several years of experience. Most recently, she worked as Accessibility Coordinator at Springfield College. Hailey has earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from Assumption College.

On May 31st, 2022 Administrative Services welcomed Bryant Powlowski as Campus Police Officer I. Bryant has completed the QCC Police Academy.

On May 31st, 2022 Administrative Services welcomed  Michael Tanis as Campus Police Officer I. Michael has completed the QCC Police Academy. Michael earned a bachelor’s degree from Worcester State University.
