Student Officers show community members how to perform CPR.
Community service is a part of QCC's Police Academy.
Student officers/recruits at QCC’s Police Academy helped give back to the community by offering CPR training to family and friends on November 13. The student officers assisted UMass Memorial Medical Center emergency physician Dr. Joseph Sabato with CPR Teach Back at QCC’s Police Academy.
According to the CDC, if CPR is performed in the first few minutes of cardiac arrest, it can double or triple a person's chance of survival.
