QCC to Host Legislative Breakfast and Ribbon Cutting for Its HomePlate Food Pantry and Resource Center

WHAT:  Quinsigamond Community College (QCC) has invited local and state legislators and donors of the QCC HomePlate Food Pantry and Resource Center to a breakfast and ribbon cutting. The breakfast will showcase the work that QCC does in Worcester and Central Massachusetts, including its innovative programs and support services, the impact that QCC has in the community, and the transformative power of higher education.

This is also an opportunity to listen to elected officials’ interests, concerns, and expectations regarding the work that QCC does and the services QCC provides to its constituencies.  Following the breakfast, there will be a ribbon cutting and tour of the HomePlate Food Pantry and Resource Center, which was developed to supports students dealing with food insecurity, as well as other critical life needs.

WHEN:  Friday, September 23, 2022, at 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

WHERE:  QCC’s main campus, 670 West Boylston Street, Worcester, MA 01606 in the Harrington Learning Center – Lower Level – Room 109A/B. After the breakfast, the Food Pantry Ribbon Cutting will take place in the Administration Building – Room B65A.
