WORCESTER, Mass. –   Quinsigamond Community College is hosting its ninth-annual spelling bee on Thursday, March 29 at 7 p.m. in Hebert Auditorium on campus.  Snow date for the event is April 5.

This lively and fun community event will bring 21 teams to QCC from a number of area colleges and businesses, including UNUMProvident, Saint Vincent Hospital, Commonwealth National Bank, Worcester Publishing, and the Worcester Telegram and Gazette. Come join our official guest judges and watch as teams vie to be Worcester’s best spellers.  Watch the 2006 defending champions from Worcester State College attempt to defend their title!

The spelling bee is again sponsored by the T & G, with all proceeds going to support student scholarships at QCC.  Admission to the event as a spectator is FREE and refreshments are included.
