Seek Guidance Early & Often

You must meet with an academic advisor before you can register for classes. They’ll be your guide to QCC from the time you apply until you graduate. You can go to them for anything from picking a major and preparing an academic plan to finding support services and navigating The Q.

Career Services

Meet with a career counselor to ensure you’re in the right major for your career goals. They’ll help you get started on a resume, find a job or internship, and be prepared for the interview.

Transfer Services

Did you know that Massachusetts has a program that will pay for your bachelor's degree if you start at a community college? It’s true! But you must apply to this program within your first semester. Meet with a transfer generalist as soon as possible if you plan on transferring after QCC.

Apply for the Honors Program

Take on the challenge of the Commonwealth Honors Program. If you have a 3.5+ GPA from high school, you may be eligible. Our honors students get access to advanced courses, cultural and social events, scholarship opportunities, and more.

Join the STEM Starter Academy

If you major in any of our science, technology, engineering, or math programs, consider joining the STEM Starter Academy where you’ll receive additional support, research and internship opportunities, field trips, workshops, and more.

Find a Club

Get involved in any of our 20+ on-campus clubs. Meet people with similar interests. Attend club events. And make the most of your time at QCC.
