How can I help my student get ready for college?
In addition to supporting your student in whatever they choose, you can encourage them to join one of these programs to prepare for or even complete college-level classes before they even graduate high school.
Take Classes While in High School
- If your student is in high school, they may be able to take classes through QCC on-campus or right at their high school. Learn more about your student’s options and how they can get head start on college credits before they graduate high school.
- Guidance counselors can also look into our High School Articulation Agreements to see if your school may be eligible to partner with us.
Explore Our Programs
Sit down with your student and help them explore our pathways and programs. Consider their interests and their goals and talk about the pros and cons of the majors they’re interested in.
