Competition Format: This is round 2.

Each student will have up to an hour to complete as many of the twenty competition questions as they can. The questions are usually multiple choice, and may involve algebra, trigonometry, geometry, probability or logic. A calculator (scientific or graphing), without a typewriter-like keyboard, is allowed to be used during the competition. Examples of past competition questions can be found on the AMATYC Student Math League Website: www.amatyc.org/?studentmathleague.

Prizes (*) are awarded, as well as national recognition given, to the top individuals and schools. This is a great activity to have on your resume! (*) A student is only eligible for a prize if they have not already received a college degree.
