The questions are usually multiple choice, and may involve algebra, trigonometry, geometry, probability or logic. A calculator (scientific or graphing), without a typewriter-like keyboard, is allowed to be used during the competition. Examples of past competition questions can be found on the AMATYC Student Math League Website: www.amatyc.org/?studentmathleague.Prizes (*) are awarded, as well as national recognition given, to the top individuals and schools. This is a great activity to have on your resume!
