Meet the Coach

Aidan Macdonald
Aidan Macdonald grew up in Oneonta, NY, where he played varsity soccer at Oneonta High School. He began his coaching career at Dean College, serving as team manager and then assistant coach, helping lead the team to multiple NJCAA Region 21 appearances and their first national tournament in 2012. He also helped Dean transition to NCAA Division III.
In 2016, Aidan was assistant coach for the University at Albany men’s team, which won the America East Conference and made the NCAA tournament. He later coached club soccer in Massachusetts, including three years with New England Surf Soccer Club.
Aidan holds a Bachelor’s in Business and Sports Management from Dean College and holds USC National and USSF D coaching licenses. He lives in Fitchburg, MA with his wife and two daughters.
