Meet the Coach
Oscar Chavez
Oscar Chavez is a dedicated collegiate women's volleyball coach with a strong foundation as both a player and mentor. He began his volleyball career in 2012 in Oregon and went on to compete at Nichols College from 2016-2020.
After his playing career, Chavez transitioned into coaching, serving as an assistant volleyball coach at Assumption University, Nichols College, and Western Oregon University. Across these programs, he has contributed to player development, team strategy, and fostering a competitive and supportive team culture.
Chavez brings passion for the game and a commitment to helping student-athletes success both on and off the court. In addition to coaching, Chavez also serves as the Coordinator for Transfer and Articulation at QCC."
