Candidates for President

Suzanne Graham Anderson
My name is Suzanne Graham Anderson, and I am proudly seeking re-election as President of the Quinsigamond Community College Alumni Association.
It has been an honor to serve in this role, and I approach this next chapter with deep pride and an unwavering commitment to QCC and the incredible community it represents.
Throughout my time as president, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with QCC’s dedicated staff to launch meaningful initiatives that have strengthened the visibility, engagement, and impact of our Alumni Association. Together, we've co-hosted events that place students at the center of our mission—celebrating their achievements and fostering connections that last well beyond graduation.
Quinsigamond Community College is more than an institution—it’s a foundation for dreams, growth, and transformation. I believe wholeheartedly in the power of education to change lives, and I am deeply committed to building lasting relationships with alumni, community members, and local leaders. I want every graduate to feel a true sense of belonging and to know that QCC will always be their home.
Over the past year, we’ve launched exciting new efforts to expand our alumni network, deepen connections, and raise our collective voice. I am energized by the progress we’ve made and even more inspired by what lies ahead.
A vote for me is a vote for continued growth, stronger alumni engagement, and a more vibrant future for QCC. Together, let’s build a lasting legacy—one rooted in support, inspiration, and opportunity for generations to come.
Thank you for your continued trust and support.
Warmly,
Suzanne Graham Anderson

Hillary Ochieng’ Ang’ila
I served as the President of the Kenya Unified Martial Arts Federation for fourteen years, from 1996 to 2010. I am also the founder of the Supreme Intelligence Organization in Kenya, a position I held until relocating to the United States in September 2010. To this day, I continue to serve as an International Martial Arts Instructor.
These leadership roles have provided me with extensive experience in organizational management, administration, marketing, fundraising, recruitment, and overall operational oversight. I have consistently demonstrated the ability to lead, grow, and sustain organizations through vision, collaboration, and effective execution.
Given this background, I am confident in my ability to fulfill the responsibilities required of the QCC Alumni Association role.

Tyler Paul Wills
I believe I would make a strong candidate for President because I’m confident, outspoken, and deeply committed to being a positive role model. I genuinely enjoy being involved in the QCC community and would welcome the opportunity to connect with and support fellow students.
During my time at QCC, I’ve been actively engaged in many ways — serving as Head Staff Writer for The Open Door, participating in numerous Meet & Greet events, and volunteering for a variety of campus activities. I’ve always been eager to help out wherever I’m needed and take pride in making a meaningful impact.
Candidates for Vice President

Jessica (LaBaire) Favreau
My name is Jess Favreau and I am honored to be considered for a position as the VP of the Alumni Association. As a proud graduate of Quinsigamond Community College (QCC) class of 2002, I’ve seen firsthand how this institution opens doors, nurtures potential, and transforms lives. It was here that I found not only a path forward, but the confidence, guidance, and foundation I needed to grow into the person I am today.
Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to work in roles that center on community building, education, and economic development. My work has allowed me to support individuals and families across our region, many of whom—like me—found their start at QCC. These experiences have taught me the value of persistence, empathy, and staying connected to your roots.
More recently, I’ve had the privilege of participating in the Leadership Worcester Program Class of 2024, which has further expanded my connection to the local community and reaffirmed my commitment to civic involvement. Through this experience, I’ve been able to strengthen my ties with fellow leaders, including many fellow QCC alumni, who are driving change across Central Massachusetts.
My engagement with the Alumni Association is rooted in a desire to give back and amplify the value QCC provides—not just to students, but to the broader regional economy. So many QCC graduates live, work, and give back to our local communities, and I believe the Alumni Association can be a powerful catalyst in helping them stay connected, supported, and inspired
I’m proud to be part of the QCC legacy, and I look forward to the opportunity to serve and strengthen the alumni network that continues to shape the future of our region.

Ethan O’Connell
I am eager to serve as Vice President of the Quinsigamond Community College Association because I believe QCC alumni can, and should, support students' access to affordable, high-quality education. I would like to advance the role of alumni in supporting current students, and I see the VP role as a chance to effect this. As VP of the Alumni Association, my goals would be to amplify alumni engagement through personalized outreach, scale campaign-based giving, and develop best-in-class alumni ambassador programs.
I am deeply grateful for my experience at QCC. I enjoyed serving the QCC community as Student Trustee, Vice President of the Student Government Association, and Vice President of PTK; these roles afforded me leadership opportunities, mentorship, and community. Ultimately, these experiences helped me transfer to Williams College after graduating from QCC in 2017. I’m grateful for what QCC invested in me as a student, and I want to invest in the QCC community as an alum. By applying my experiences post-graduation, I hope to build upon the life-changing opportunities that QCC offers students.
Since graduating from Williams in 2020, I’ve experienced what it means to be a member of the oldest continually operating alumni organization in North America. I am excited to translate the vibrancy and sense of community from my Williams alumni experience to the alumni experience of QCC graduates. I am excited to work with other members of the Alumni Board, current students, faculty, and staff to develop systems that match alumni passions with student needs, structure capital campaigns that fuel QCC's role as an economic-growth engine, and assemble alumni ambassadors who can champion QCC across communities.
I offer my energy, experience, and gratitude to elevating our Alumni Association and, most importantly, to expanding opportunity for QCC students. Thank you for your consideration.

I truly enjoy participating in community events and connecting with new people. I'm highly organized and take great pride in my note-taking and attention to detail. I've been actively involved with the Alumni Committee, attending most—if not all—recent events, and I’ve also supported QCC's graduation ceremonies for the past few years. These experiences reflect my dedication to the QCC community and my willingness to step up and help wherever I’m needed.
