Blackboard Ultra Course Copy

This one-hour workshop is intended for faculty and staff who have taken other workshops in our Blackboard Ultra series and are ready to convert a course or organization from original to Ultra for the Spring 2024 semester. During this workshop, attendees will learn how to request the Ultra course view for future courses; how to copy content, assignments, rubrics, and test banks into their Ultra course; and how to edit course materials in Ultra.

QCC’s Tech Tools (tech training for students)

Is this your first semester at QCC, or do you need additional help using QCC's tech tools? Join us for an interactive and informational workshop about QCC technology and learn the skills needed to start your semester off right!  In this workshop led by the Online Learning Coaches, you will learn the following:

  • How to log into QCC’s required web-based systems (Microsoft, The Q, and Blackboard) 
  • What Blackboard is and what it is used for 
  • The importance of using your student email 
  • Tips and strategies for using QCC’s resources  
  • How to access two free Blackboard courses to set yourself up for success 

You will have opportunities to ask questions during this workshop and will earn a digital badge for attending.

This interactive workshop will help you better understand your brain, how to best service and maintain your brain’s needs, and offers the opportunity to access and apply interventions with “real-time” results. Most importantly, this experience is a “blast from the past” with a 90’s theme that will be sure to allow you to have fun, relax, and recharge your brain!

  • Enhance understanding of your brain
  • Engage in “real-time” activities/interventions that provide immediate relief and recharge. (mindfulness, art, music, movement etc.)
  • Build your skillset to support stress management, emotional regulation, and more productive thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
  • Have a great time!
