HiSET (formerly GED)

The High School Equivalency Test (HiSET) provides students the opportunity to earn a high school credential. This credential is recognized as a key to employment opportunities, career advancement, and further education. The test consists of five parts in the areas of mathematics, writing, science, social studies, and reading.

As of 8/18/14, the Testing Office at QCC will no longer be handling transcript requests for GED recipients. At this time, the state office will handle all requests for transcripts or verifications of GED or HiSET. The numbers for the state office are 781.338.6625 and 781.338.6604.
