Concurrent Enrollment

Quinsigamond Community College adheres to the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP) definition of “concurrent enrollment.” Concurrent enrollment courses are taught by high school instructors who are certified by QCC academic deans, based on their credentials to teach the QCC course. The courses are identical in content and rigor to those offered at Quinsigamond Community College. As a concurrent enrollment program, QCC Early College Pathways enables students to earn both high school and college credit simultaneously. 

The National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP) is the nation's first and only national organization for concurrent and dual enrollment programs. Founded in 1999, NACEP is an accreditation organization and a community of practice. Quinsigamond Community College is a NACEP Member, aligned with all NACEP standards, and is seeking full accreditation for the 2026-2027 cycle.
