QCC Foundation Scholarships

Quinsigamond Community College is a place of opportunity. We have a policy of open admission; all students who possess the desire to pursue higher education are welcome.

For many students the desire to learn is not enough. Financial aid assists many students in meeting their tuition and fee obligations, but scholarships can make the critical difference for many students each year. If a scholarship could increase your chances of successfully completing a course of study at QCC, please consider applying.

Many scholarships awarded through the QCC Foundation each year are funded by the generosity of scholarship donors, QCC alumni and other friends of the college. Students who receive a scholarship are required to write a letter of thanks to the donor who created the award letting them know the impact the scholarship has had on their academic career.  Students will also be invited to attend an annual scholarship luncheon with donors. The Office of External Affairs will gladly work with each scholarship recipient to ensure that each donor is properly thanked.

Who Can Apply?
Everyone! Students from all majors are welcome to apply.  The QCC Foundation Scholarship program awards students for academic achievement and considerable financial need (barriers). Students may earn a scholarship based on financial constraints, academic excellence, outstanding merit, service to the College and community or a combination of these factors. Returning students are encouraged to apply for scholarships and both degree and certificate-track students will be considered. Scholarships may be awarded to full-time or part-time students. A GPA of 2.5 or better is required. If your GPA is not a minimum of 2.5 please tell us why in the applicable section of the application. QCC must be the student’s home school to be eligible to receive a scholarship.  New, incoming freshmen are also welcome to apply.

When can you apply?
