QCC Welcomes New Staff

February 2024

On December 18, QCC welcomed Nicole Maffei - Campus Police Officer I (B4T) - Administrative Services. Nicole brings several years of experience. Most recently, she was a Corrections Officer for the Worcester County House of Corrections. Nicole holds both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Criminal Justice from Anna Maria College.

On December 18, QCC welcomed Cheynne Walker - Campus Police Officer I (B4T) - Administrative Services. Cheyenne brings several years of experience. Most recently, she was an Administrator for the ABA Centers of America. Cheyenne holds an Associate of Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement from QCC.

On January 2, QCC welcomed Julia Clark - Clerk IV Program Assistant (School of Healthcare) - Academic Affairs. Julia brings several years of experience. Most recently, she was an Office Support Specialist at WRCH Department of Mental Health. 

On January 2, QCC welcomed Diana Gordon - Assistant Professor of Surgical Technology - Academic Affairs. Diana brings several years of experience. Most recently, she was an Adjunct Instructor at QCC. Diana holds a bachelor's degree from Worcester State University.

On January 2, QCC welcomed Laura Goyette - Recruitment Counselor - Enrollment & Student Services. Laura brings several years of experience. Most recently she was a Residential Counselor for the Boston Ballet School. Laura holds Bachelor of Science in Biology and Pre-Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Art in Music from Assumption University. 

On January 2, QCC welcomed Megan Morgan - Staff Assistant - President's Office - Administrative Services. Megan brings several years of experience. Most recently, she was an Administrative Assistant to Student Services for North Brookfield Public Schools. Megan holds a Bachelor of Writing/Visual Arts and Design from Southern Cross University and a Bachelor of English from UMass. 

On January 8, QCC welcomed Yesenia Cirilo -Clerk IV Financial Aid - Enrollment & Student Services. Yesenia brings several years of experience. Most recently, she was a Probation Case Specialist for Dudley District Court.

On January 8, QCC welcomed Taylor Rohena - Student Accessibility Services Coordinator - Enrollment & Student Services. Taylor brings several years of experience. Most recently, she was an Associate Director for Accessibility Services at WPI. Taylor holds an Bachelor of Art in Psychology from Framingham State University and a Master of Education from Salem State University. 

On January 16, QCC welcomed James Barham - Assistant Professor of Nurse Education/LPN Program (Evenings) - Academic Affairs. James brings several years of experience. Most recently, he was an Assistant/Interim Nurse Manager for Med Surg at Baystate Health. James holds an Associate of Applied Science-Nursing from Northeast Mississippi Community College, a Bachelor of Science-Nursing from Mississippi University for Women, and a Master's degree from Western Governors University.

On January 16, QCC welcomed Victor Boadu - Assistant Professor of Nurse Education/LPN Program (Evenings) - Academic Affairs. Victor brings several years of experience. Most recently, he was a Psych NP Student during his residency/preceptorship at UMass Memorial Medical Center. Victor holds an Associate Degree in Nursing from MWCC, a Bachelor of Nursing from Fitchburg State University, and both a Master of Nursing and a Doctorate of Nursing from UMass Amherst.

On January 16, QCC welcomed Daniel Marsala - Assistant Professor Respiratory Care - Academic Affairs. Daniel brings several years of experience. Most recently he was an Adjunct Faculty member at QCC. Daniel holds an Associate's in Respiratory Care from QCC, and both a Bachelor and Master of Respiratory Care from Boise State University. 

On January 16 QCC welcomed Ruth Thuo - Assistant Professor of Nurse Education ADN Program (Days) - Academic Affairs. Ruth brings several years of experience. Most recently, she was a Registered Nurse for Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital. Ruth holds both a Bachelor and Master of Nursing from Worcester State University.

On January 22, QCC welcomed Anthony Wassel - Facilities Manager - Administrative Services. Anthony brings several years of experience. Most recently, he was a Facilities Manager for the Boston Center for the Fine Arts. Anthony holds a Bachelor of Energy Management with a Minor in Business Administration from Fitchburg State University and a Master of Facilities Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology.

On January 29, QCC welcomed Sydney Goldman - Academic Coach (Sr. Community/Outreach Counsel) - Academic Affairs. Sydney brings several years of experience. Most recently, they were an ESL Academic Advisor here at QCC. Sydney holds a Bachelor of Linguistics and French from Mount Holyoke College, a Master of French/Education from UMass Amherst and is currently pursuing a Master of Education from Lesley University. 

On February 5, QCC welcomed DeShaun Gomes - Audio Visual Technician I (First Shift) - Administrative Services. DeShaun brings several years of experience. Most recently, he was an Audio-Visual Technician at QCC. 

On February 5, QCC welcomed Nathan Kozach - Academic Coach (Sr. Community/Outreach Cousel Grade 4) - Academic Affairs. Nathan brings several years of experience. Most recently, he was the Assistant Director of Student Activities and Orientation at Lasell University. Nathan holds a Bachelor's Degree from Westfield State University.
