Make sure your students know about all the exciting activities for transfer options and employment opportunities.

Wednesday, October 11

  • Workforce Wednesdays – We welcome Emerson Hospital to the 1st floor of the HLC from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and Kaleidoscope Family Solutions to the 2nd floor of the HLC from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. to explore career opportunities with QCC students.
  • OPEN HOUSE! Career and Transfer Services cordially invites you to the grand opening of our Center for Career and Transfer Services. Stop by 274A anytime between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to see our new student space and enjoy some light refreshments.

Donuts and Deadlines!  

  • This recurring event will take place Thursday, October 12, Monday, October 23, Wednesday, October 25 and Monday, October 30.
  • When should students submit applications?  Meet with Transfer Services in 274A at 11AM for a donut and discussion on deadlines for all things transfer.

Transfer Week

  • Monday, October 16, 10:00 a.m. - 274A  - Focus on Finances – Learn about financial aid and scholarship opportunities for transfer students. Presented by Holly Smart, University of Maine Transfer Admissions.
  • Tuesday, October 17 - Worcester Colleges Present – Transfer 101 - Come meet with representatives from Clark, Nichols, WPI, and Worcester State to hear about important aspects of transfer.

Wednesday, October 18

  • Autumn STEM Spectacle – join us on the quad and in the courtyard between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. for a showcase of cool new tech from area employers as they unveil the wonders of STEM.
  • Workforce Wednesdays – We welcome Nordstrom to the 2nd floor of the HLC from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to explore career opportunities with QCC students.
  • Thinking about medical school? - Come meet with representatives from UMass-Medical School. Brooke Honzel, second year student; 274A from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.  Refreshments will be served.

Thursday, October 19

  • Williams College - A Liberal Arts Education - 9:30 a.m.  - 10:30 a.m. - 274A
  • Smith College - Attending an All Women’s College - 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. - 274A

Friday, October 20

  • How do credits transfer? – Meet with Transfer Services at 10:30AM or 12:30PM via ZOOM to learn how your credits may be applied to a bachelor’s degree program when you transfer.
