QCC and Early College Worcester made a visit to the Massachusetts Statehouse last month to advocate for an increase in Early College funding. Students and representatives from the Early College Worcester Partnership, QCC, Worcester State University and Worcester Public Schools met with Massachusetts State Senator Robyn Kennedy. The team provided her with information about Early College and asked for her support to increase funding.

Three students from Burncoat High School spoke about their personal challenges and how participating in the Early College Worcester program opened doors to career and college opportunities. Students in the Early College program are able to earn up to 12 college credits and receive a college transcript.
