WORCESTER, MA—May 10, 2021— Quinsigamond Community College is collaborating with Albertson’s/Shaw’s/Osco to host a Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic for students, faculty, staff and their families on May 11 from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the QCC Athletic Center, 670 West Boylston Street, Worcester. QCC also invited students, faculty and staff from Assumption University, Anna Maria College and Becker College to participate in their clinic. As the Moderna vaccine requires two shots, the College will host a second clinic on June 8 to provide the second vaccination. Vaccinations are provided by appointment only.

While QCC is currently operating remotely, the College will offer in-person classes and services for the fall semester. QCC is not currently mandating students be vaccinated for the fall semester; however, it is strongly encouraged.

“Our successful return to pre-pandemic life is dependent upon responsible members of our population being vaccinated,” said QCC President Luis G. Pedraja, Ph.D. “I encourage everyone who is not already vaccinated to do so as soon as possible. The best way to protect yourself and your community is by getting vaccinated.”
