QCC to Offer Several Degree Programs Online

WORCESTER, Mass.  –  Quinsigamond Community College is proud to announce the addition of five associate degrees and four certificate programs to be newly offered online

QCC received approval from the New England Association of Schools and Colleges to offer a variety of degree programs and certificate programs online.  In total, five degree programs and four certificates will be offered online.

“The NEASC approval indicates the confidence they have in the integrity of our online distance education initiatives,” stated Pat Toney, Interim Vice President of Academic Affairs.

Five associate degree programs will be offered online for the coming fall 2007 semester – Business Administration (100%), Criminal Justice (100%), General Studies (100%), Computer Systems Engineering Technology - Forensics Options (80%), and Computer Information Systems - Applications Specialist (80%).

Certificate programs offered 80% or more online include:  Computer Systems Engineering Technology - PC Specialist, Computer Information Systems - Applications Specialist, Computer Information Systems - Web Applications, and Law Enforcement.

“Quinsigamond is committed to providing the community access to education via quality online degree programs,” added Steve Marini, Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs and Director of Distance Education.
