WORCESTER, Mass. – On May 3 Quinsigamond Community College will formally announce the launch of its journal of contemporary literature, titled “MEMEscapes.” The annual journal is a collection of student writings and artworks that will be published every April at QCC.
All QCC students were invited to submit original artworks, fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction writings for possible publication in the journal. “MEMEscapes Online” also offers an online gallery of works by QCC students.
On May 3 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., an official presentation of the first edition of “MEMEscapes” will occur for the College community, including the Board of Trustees and College staff. Awards will be given for outstanding contributions to the journal and students will read some of their published writings. A reception will follow.
