That special feeling is in the air - it's the start of the Fall 2025 semester at QCC! We're excited to welcome back students and employees on Wednesday, September 3, for the first day of classes. Read on for important information to start the semester off right!

All College Day: Moving Forward During Challenging Times in Higher Education

Join your colleagues on Tuesday, September 2, for the annual All College Day, focused on the "Future of Higher Education." 

Schedule:

  • 8:00 – 9:00 a.m.: Refreshments in Hebert Auditorium Foyer
  • 9:00 – 10:30 a.m.: All College Day Program in Hebert Auditorium
    • Welcome and Personnel Updates
    • Recognition of NISOD Award Recipients
    • President's Address
    • AI Task Force Presentation
    • Future of Higher Education Task Force Presentation
    • Office of Access, Opportunity, and Institutional Compliance Message

Please Note: Campus offices will open for regular business at 10:30 a.m.

  • 10:45 – 11:45 a.m.: Academic Affairs Update - Hebert Auditorium. Join Dr. Kathy Rentsch, Vice President of Academic Affairs, for an informative session highlighting current and upcoming initiatives within the division of Academic Affairs.
  • 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.: Food Truck Lunch on the Quad. Enjoy lunch from Braised and Mac Daddy, then finish it off with the first-ever "Wicked Sweet" dessert station!

Get in the Spirit!
  • Make sure to wear blue or QCC-branded items on September 3 and 4
  • Volunteer during Welcome Week (contact studentlife@qcc.mass.edu for more info)
  • If students are lost and you have time, walk with them to their destination. A kind word and a friendly face can make all the difference for a student. Having a campus map on hand can help!
