Dear QCC Community, 

One of the most important responsibilities of the Board of Trustees is selecting the next leader of our college. Today, I am pleased to officially announce the launch of the search for the next President of Quinsigamond Community College. 

As we begin this important process, we are committed to ensuring that the voices of our campus community help shape the future of QCC. An essential part of the search will be the formation of a Presidential Search Committee, and we invite interested members of our community to be considered for service on this committee. 

If you would like to be considered, please complete the Presidential Search Committee Interest Form by 5:00 p.m. on September 15, 2026. I also encourage you to share this opportunity with colleagues who may be interested in contributing their perspectives and expertise to this important work. 

In accordance with the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education Presidential Search Guidelines, the committee will consist of 9 to 13 members and will reflect the broad range of perspectives, experiences, and constituent groups that make up the QCC community. At a minimum, the committee will include three Trustees, one representative from the Department of Higher Education, and at least one representative from the college's major constituencies, including students, faculty, professional staff, non-unit staff, and support staff. 

The Search Committee will play a pivotal role in helping define the leadership qualities, priorities, and vision that will guide Quinsigamond Community College into its next chapter. Committee members should be aware that this work will require a significant time commitment. 

The Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees will review all interest forms and will work to ensure the committee reflects the many voices and experiences represented across our college community. Selected committee members will be notified by mid-October. 

Please know that while we welcome and value your interest in serving on the Presidential Search Committee, submitting this form does not guarantee an appointment. Given the committee's limited size, not all volunteers can be selected. However, there will be a variety of opportunities for members of the QCC community to engage in the search process and share their perspectives.  

To support transparency throughout the process, a dedicated presidential search website has been created and can be found at www.qcc.edu/search.The site will serve as a central resource for updates, timelines, committee information, and opportunities for engagement.
