WORCESTER, MA – October 27, 2026 – Quinsigamond Community College will host its Fall Open House from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, giving prospective students and their families a firsthand look at the college’s degree, certificate and workforce programs.
The event will take place in the lower level of the Harrington Learning Center on QCC’s West Boylston Street campus, 670 W. Boylston St. It is open to high school students, adult learners, transfer students and career changers.
“Our open house is a chance for students to picture themselves at QCC. They can talk with faculty, meet current students and get answers about everything from financial aid to transfer pathways, all in one evening,” said Michelle Tufau, associate vice president of strategic enrollment and student engagement.
Guests can learn about QCC’s degree, certificate and workforce development programs through academic program showcases and meet faculty to ask questions about areas of study that match their career goals. They can connect with student support services, including academic advising, financial aid, student accessibility services, tutoring and academic support, career and transfer services, and student engagement opportunities. Attendees will also learn more about free community college eligibility.
Visitors can explore classrooms, labs and learning spaces across campus and take a guided tour led by current students, who will share what campus life is like and how QCC supports them. Attendees will gain insight into QCC's affordable tuition, financial aid opportunities, flexible online and in-person course formats, small class sizes, transfer pathways to four-year colleges and universities, and career-focused programs designed for today’s workforce.
