Even though he's worked at QCC for over 20 years, you might not have run into Anthony "Butch" Bernardi during his second-shift schedule as a Maintainer for the Facilities department. But if you've been on the third floor of the Administration Building, you've seen the results of his hard work in keeping things clean and welcoming.
You may also have seen Butch at an AFSCME event or meeting, where he serves as the union steward. In both of these roles, his main goal is to work collectively to help each other and create an environment where students and employees feel comfortable.
"The way I look at things in life is, let's try to help everybody out. My father always told me that you never know what someone else is going through," Butch said.
