Isabella Corazzini
Grant Writing, Development, and Operations Consultant
Class of 2025
How did QCC impact your journey?
I started college in Baltimore, but returned home during COVID due to job loss, housing instability, and isolation, which forced me to start over. At Quinsigamond Community College, I found a space that allowed me to rebuild at my own pace, with support that helped me move through fear, shame, and uncertainty. It gave me not just another chance, but the confidence to keep going and define my own path.
What are you currently doing?
I am a grant writing, development, and operations consultant supporting mission-driven organizations in building sustainable systems and accessing funding. I’m also very much in my “soft girl era,” prioritizing alignment, community, and spaces where women of color build and support one another. Outside of work, I stay engaged in my community through volunteering, organizing, and advocacy, especially on immigration issues and in support of young people. Giving back, including to Quinsigamond Community College, is a big part of how I show up.
What advice would you give to current students and fellow alumni?
It doesn’t matter what pace you move at; there’s only one person in the arena, and that’s you. Don’t be discouraged by failure or the need to balance life; you’re human, and growth isn’t linear. Advocate for yourself, ask for help, and show up as you are, even when you don’t feel ready. And when you can, give back, do it for the version of yourself who needed a space like Quinsigamond Community College.
How can we connect with or support you?
You can connect with me on LinkedIn (Isabella Corazzini) or through my work in the Worcester community. I’m always open to conversations, mentorship, and finding ways to build and support together.
