Captain Hemoglobin made a special appearance at QCC's blood drive.
Captain Hemoglobin showed up on campus at the start of April to promote a blood drive and thank donors for their contributions to the Rhode Island Blood Center.
Over 35 participants showed up, resulting in donations that will help to save as many as 90 lives. One of the donations was even a double red donation that equals two units of blood.
Thanks to the generosity of donors and the support of the Health & Wellness team, the campus helped make a meaningful difference that will continue to benefit patients in need. Way to go QCC Community!
