QCC Chief of Police Stephen DiGiovanni

WORCESTER, MA – December 11, 2025 – Quinsigamond Community College Chief of Police Stephen DiGiovanni has been sworn in as a member of the Board of Directors for the Central Massachusetts Chiefs of Police Association, marking a historic first for the organization. He is the first collegiate chief to hold an officer position within the association.

DiGiovanni was nominated to fill a vacant three-year term and was elected by his peers during the association’s November 2025 meeting and started his tenure on December 9, 2025.

The Central Massachusetts Chiefs of Police Association represents more than 75 police departments across the region. Its mission is to promote effective law enforcement, support education and professional development, and foster collaboration among public and private agencies concerned with law enforcement.

DiGiovanni has worked at QCC since 2008, becoming the college’s first full-time detective in 2014, Deputy Chief of Police Operations in 2015 and Chief of Police in February 2024.
