Anna Maria College just launched its Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program housed at QCC. The innovative program offers an affordable and accessible pathway for students with an associate degree to complete their four-year degree in the high-demand field of social work. Classes will begin this Spring semester.
The hybrid program will combine Saturday morning in-person classes at QCC with online coursework, specifically designed for busy professionals and community college graduates seeking career advancement. Students will complete the three-year program in supportive cohorts, taking two courses each semester. The establishment of the satellite program based at QCC’s main campus addresses the needs of students who require more flexibility.
This transfer-friendly program is designed for individuals who have a related associate degree, such as liberal arts, liberal arts - psychology or criminal justice.
Graduates of this program are prepared for direct entry into the workforce as professional social workers or may qualify for advanced standing in Anna Maria’s Master of Social Work (MSW) program.
