The QCC Fab Lab is a hands-on learning space where QCC students, faculty, staff, departments, and alumni can turn ideas into physical projects.
Fab Lab Availability
You do not need to know which machine or process you need. Start by telling us what you want to make or learn, and we can help you figure out the next steps.
Make a Project
Create a prototype, model, replacement part, sign, mold, or another physical project.
Fab Lab staff can help you choose an appropriate process, learn the equipment, and work safely. You will remain involved in making and completing your project.
Plan a Class or Department Project
Work with the Fab Lab to plan a class activity, department project, or project that uses several different processes.
We can help instructors and department representatives understand the equipment, prepare their students, and build the skills needed to support future work.
Learn or Request a Tour
Request equipment training, explore a new fabrication process, or schedule a Fab Lab tour.
No previous experience is required. We can help you understand what the equipment does and where to begin.
