Student Teaching Practicum II

This course provides the students, working under faculty supervision, with an extended opportunity (150 hours) to relate theory to classroom practice in the Quinsigamond Children’s School: Early Childhood Education Lab School, community childcare, or public school. Students observe children closely and use guidelines as set by the state of Massachusetts to plan, implement, and evaluate curricula for young children. Students set up and maintain the total learning environment, provide appropriate guidance for young children and implement inclusion strategies as needed.
