This course explores the technologies and strategies that power modern data storage and management in today’s AI-driven, cloud-connected environments. Students study traditional and emerging storage architectures, including NAS, SAN, cloud storage, object storage, and complex infrastructures. Emphasis is placed on data lifecycle management, backup and recovery automation, disaster recovery planning, replication, deduplication, and storage security. The course also examines advancements in edge storage, AI-enabled optimization, and sustainability in data center operations. Hands-on labs utilize modern cloud and virtualization platforms.
