QCC honors the life and legacy of Professor Dadbeh Bigonahy, whose 44 years of distinguished service left an indelible mark on the College, its Engineering program, and the thousands of students whose lives he influenced.
Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Professor Dadbeh Bigonahy
Professor Bigonahy earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Tehran Polytech University and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Throughout his career, he was recognized for his dedication to teaching, mentorship, and fostering student success.
His interests in engineering, including biomedical engineering, reflected a belief in the power of innovation to improve lives and advance society. Most importantly, he inspired generations of students to pursue their education and careers with confidence and purpose.
We invite the QCC community to honor Professor Bigonahy's memory through a memorial gift. These contributions serve as a meaningful tribute to a remarkable educator preserving the values of learning, mentorship, and opportunity that defined his life's work.
His legacy lives on through the students he inspired, the careers he helped launch, and the lives he touched through his dedication to education.
