Megan Rae Fitzgerald
Megan Rae Fitzgerald passed away on January 11, 2025 after a long battle with complications from cancer.
Megan was born in Pittsfield MA in 1980 to Rory J. & Linda L. Fitzgerald. She attended several schools obtaining licenses in cosmetology, barbering and massage therapy, and she obtained two Associates degrees from Quinsigamond Community College and was pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She worked for many years in the healthcare field. Megan never met a stranger and consistently took the initiative with her courageous heart and warrior spirit assisting wherever needed. Every single life she touched was made infinitely better for having known her. Don't say in grief that you are sorry Megan is gone ... say in gratefulness that Megan was here.
A scholarship has been established in Megan’s memory, in honor of her caring heart and commitment to helping others. The Megan Rae Fitzgerald Scholarship will provide support for Quinsigamond Community College nursing students.
