Federal Work Study Program
The Federal Work Study program provides an excellent opportunity for students with financial need to work in part-time jobs, up to 20 hours per week. You will earn money to assist you with college expenses while gaining work experience. Work study jobs are available on-campus and off-campus in community service organizations and schools in the Worcester area. You may also be able to create your own work study job. Limited funding is available for each academic year.
The pay rate for work study starts at $14.25 per hour. The amount of your award will depend on your pay rate, the amount of financial need that you have and the number of hours that you work. You will receive a paycheck every two weeks for the hours worked in the previous pay period.
To apply for a Federal Work Study position, submit a completed Student Job Request Form to the Financial Aid Office.
