If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms, please do a COVID-19 self-checker every day.

Stay home if you, or anyone in your household has cold-like symptoms or is sick or if you have been in close contact with anyone who has cold-like symptoms or is sick: This includes employees reporting to work or students reporting to onsite labs. If you are sick, call your doctor.

  • Fever
  • Sore throat
  • New cough
  • New shortness of breath
  • New muscle aches
  • Unexplained loss of taste or smell

This list does not include all possible symptoms. People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus.

If you are experiencing a life threatening emergency, such as severe shortness of breath or high fever, call 911. This self-checker is not a substitute for professional advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always consult a medical professional for serious symptoms or emergencies.
