At Quinsigamond Community College, there is a feeling of holiday happiness in the air as the College once again hosted its annual Stuff-A-Cruiser Event! Each year in early December, QCC’s Counseling Services and Campus Police team up to help make the holidays brighter for students and their families. Now in its sixth year of this college collaboration, Stuff-A-Cruiser is one of the most anticipated events of the year.

Captain Joseph Cecchi, known far and wide as “Blue Santa” is the figurehead for this college community event that brings joy to so many students and their children.

“While dressed as ‘Blue Santa,’ I again had the opportunity to ring my bell out loud for all to hear and I am sure you all did! I hope this event was again as enjoyable for you as it always is for me! Portraying Santa in a Blue Suit for the sixth year in a row was another amazing experience and brought about pure gratification. However, the true joy always came from the student, parents, faculty and children that I encountered during these events,” said Captain Cecchi. “I especially would like to thank Santa’s Head Elf, ‘Deputy Chief Reynaldo Rodriguez,’ for donating and volunteering his time during these events.”

Everyone’s generous donations literally “Stuffed the Police Cruiser” with toys several times!

For those unable to attend the Stuff-A-Cruiser event, toys, gifts and donations are still being accepted at the QCC Campus Police Station on the main campus, or by mail to:
