Men's Basketball

The Wyverns Men's Basketball team recently ended a stellar season after making it to the semi-final regional championships on Saturday, March 4. While they didn't win the March 4 game against Roxbury Community College, they brought QCC to the playoffs for the first time and finished with a 15-11 record, up from 6-19 last season. Way to go Wyverns!

Three players made the 2022-23 NJCAA Region 21 Men’s Basketball All-Region Teams.

Third Team All-Region 21

  • Johnny Annan

Graduating students Johnny Annan, Emmanuel Boderbe, Alexander Duval and Christopher Towns Jr. were congratulated for their last season as Wyverns during the February 18 game against Springfield Technical Community College.

"This season's team will not be soon forgotten. They will be forever remembered as the team that put QCC's basketball program back on the map. Throughout the ups and downs of a very successful but challenging campaign, they stuck together and kept their eyes on our team's goals. For that, I’ll be forever grateful. They made me proud to be their coach,” Coach John Presioza said.
