QCC'sState of Mind radio show will celebrate Women's History Month.
Starting this month, QCC will be airing a monthly radio program called State of Mind on Unity Radio WUTY 97.9 FM. The program will feature rotating faculty, staff, and students who will discuss issues around higher education, community college and our QCC community. This is a great opportunity to have our voices heard.
State of Mind will air Thursdays at 1:00 p.m. starting at the end of March. Tune in to hear Vice President of External Affairs Viviana Abreu-Hernandez, Associate Vice President for Strategic Academic and Workforce Initiative Kathy Rentsch and Vice President of Strategic Enrollment Development & Student Engagement Michelle Tufau Afriyie discuss Women's History Month and what it's like being a woman in higher education. Episodes can be heard on 97.9 FM or on www.wuty979fm.org/.
QCC has also been getting additional exposure through QCC President Dr. Luis Pedraja's monthly appearance on Talk of the Commonwealth.
