QCC Welcomes New Staff

On August 14th, 2022 Strategic Enrollment Development & Student Engagement welcomed Barbara Zawalich as Dean of Enrollment and Registrar. Barbara brings to this position several years of experience. Most recently, she worked as Registrar here at QCC. Barbara earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from Anna Maria College.

On August 15th, 2022 President’s Office welcomed Jessica Ahrens as President’s Assistant for Engagement and Initiatives. Jessica brings to this position several years of experience. Most recently, they worked as Administrative Services Coordinator at Clark University. Jessica has earned a bachelor’s degree from Thomas Edison State University and a master’s degree from SIT Graduate Institute.

On August 15th, 2022 Academic Affairs welcomed Erin Roache as Interim Director of the Early Childhood Education Lab School. Erin brings to this position several years of experience. Most recently, she worked as Lead Teacher here at QCC. Erin has earned a bachelor’s degree from Westfield State University and a master’s degree from Worcester State University.

On August 22nd, 2022 Academic Affairs welcomed Xaidie Campbell as DESE Instructor & Student Success Coordinator for ESOL - (English for Speakers of Other Languages). Xaidie brings to this position several years of experience. Most recently, she worked as an ESOL Instructor here at QCC. Xaidie earned a bachelor’s degree from Weber State University.

On August 28th, 2022 Administrative Services welcomed Ed Crotty as Maintainer Working Foreman(1st  Shift),  Ed brings to this position several years of experience. Most recently, he worked as Maintainer Working Foreman(1st Shift), on a temporary work assignment role here at QCC.

On August 28th, 2022 Administrative Services welcomed Ryan Robinson as Maintainer Working Foreman(2nd  Shift), Ryan brings to this position several years of experience. Most recently, he worked as Maintainer Working Foreman(2nd  Shift), on a temporary work assignment role here at QCC.

Most recently, she worked as Records and Registration Systems Manager here at QCC. Young Mi earned a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University.

On August 28th, 2022 Academic Affairs welcomed Lori Lamothe as Assistant Professor of English. Lori brings to this position several years of experience. Most recently, she worked as Adjunct Faculty here at QCC. Lori earned a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University, a master’s degree from University of Houston-Victoria, and a master’s Degree from Fitchburg State University.

On August 28th, 2022 Academic Affairs welcomed Teina Lochan-Dodd as Assistant Professor of Nurse Education/LPN Program (Evenings). Teina brings to this position several years of experience. Most recently, she worked as an Assistant Professor at UMASS Chan. Teina earned a bachelor’s degree from Becker College and a master’s degree from Southern New Hampshire University.

On August 28th, 2022 Academic Affairs welcomed Carolyn McGrath as Assistant Professor of Interactive Media. Carolyn brings to this position several years of experience. Most recently, she was a Digital Arts Teacher at Westborough High School. Carolyn earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from Framingham State University.

On August 28th, 2022 Academic Affairs welcomed J. Luke Parker as Assistant Professor of Mathematics. Luke brings to this position several years of experience. Most recently, he was a Math Instructor at River College. Luke earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from California State University.

On August 28th, 2022 Academic Affairs welcomed Christine Payson as Assistant Professor of English. Christine brings to this position several years of experience. Most recently, she worked as an Instructor at Framingham State University and as Adjunct Faculty at Stonehill College. Christine earned a bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University, a master’s degree and a Ph.D. from Tufts University.

On August 28th, 2022 Academic Affairs welcomed Michael Takeda as Assistant Professor of Nurse Education/LPN Program (Evenings). Michael brings to this position several years of experience. Most recently, he worked as Adjunct Faculty at Anna Maria College and here at QCC. Michael earned a bachelor’s degree from University of Oregon, a Master of Arts from Middlebury College and a Master of Science in Nursing from University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Most recently, she was Adjunct Faculty here at QCC. Sherinda earned a bachelor’s degree from Chamberlain College of Nursing, and a master’s degree from Southern New Hampshire University.
 
On August 29th, 2022 Strategic Enrollment Development & Student Engagement welcomed Bridget Hudson as Clerk III- Financial Aid Office. Bridget. Bridget brings to this position several years of experience. Most recently, she worked as Support Staff in the Veteran Affairs Office here at QCC. Bridget earned an associate degree from QCC.

On August 30th, 2022 Academic Affairs welcomed Jillian Brady as Clerk IV- Program Assistant (Adult Community Learning Center). Jillian brings to this position several years of experience. Most recently, she was a Social Media Manager at The Center for National Vesting. Jillian earned a bachelor’s degree from Worcester State University.
