On June 13, 2022, Academic Affairs welcomed Engie Roufail as Administrative Secretary I- Academic Support Services. Engie brings to this position several years of experience. Most recently, she worked as Clerk III/Workforce Development & Continuing Education here at QCC. Engie has earned a Bachelor of Science from Ain Shams University and a Clerical Office Certificate from QCC.
On June 13, 2022, Academic Affairs welcomed John McCarthy as Corporate Development Specialist. John brings to this position several years of experience. Most recently he worked as Apprenticeship Liaison at Commonwealth of Massachusetts- Executive Office of Labor & Workforce Development. John earned a Bachelor of Arts from UMASS-Boston.
On June 13, 2022, Strategic Enrollment Development & Student Engagement welcomed Lauren Stafford as Senior Financial Aid Special Coordinator. Lauren brings to this position several years of experience. Most recently, she worked as Student Financial Services Counselor at Mercyhurst University. Lauren has earned a Bachelor of Science from Point Park University and a master’s degree from Mercyhurst University.
On June 19, 2022, External Affairs welcomed Karen Hutner as Director of Strategic Communications and Public Relations. Karen brings to this position several years of experience. Most recently she was Interim Director of Institutional Communications here at QCC. Karen earned an associate degree from QCC.
On June 20, 2022, Administrative Services welcomed William McGuiness as Campus Police III- Sergeant. William brings to this position several years of experience. Most recently he worked as Detective, Police Officer, and School Liaison for the Town of Shirley and Firearms Instructor here at QCC.
On June 21, 2022 Strategic Enrollment Development & Student Engagement welcomed Alexandra Cardinale as Administrative Secretary II- Strategic Enrollment Development & Student Engagement. Alexandra brings to this position several years of experience. Most recently, she worked as Administrative Secretary II at Fitchburg State University. Alexandra has earned a bachelor’s and a master’s from Fitchburg State University.
On June 21, 2022, Academic Affairs welcomed Pamela Dempsey-O’Connell as Coordinator of Instructional Technology and Assessment. Pamela brings to this position several years of experience. Most recently, she worked as Coordinator of Instructional Technology and Assessment for SABES here at QCC. Pamela has earned a Bachelor of Science from Plymouth State College and a master’s degree from UMASS Boston.
On June 27, 2022, Administrative Services welcomed Alberto Rossy-Vazquez as Institution Security Officer II. Alberto brings to this position several years of experience. Most recently he worked as Security for Allied Universal. Alberto is currently working on completing his associate degree here at QCC.
On July 1, 2022, Academic Affairs welcomed Joanne Harrington as Clerk IV- Center for Workforce Development & Continuing Education. Joanne brings to this position several years of experience. Most recently, she worked as Clerk IV/Adult Basic Education Professional Development Center.
