It’s been an exciting start to the Spring Semester for QCC’s Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society Alpha Zeta Theta Chapter. PTK sent out emails to invite 770 eligible QCC students to take membership into the chapter. Those students invited to become PTK members this semester must be registered for Spring 2022 courses, have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, and have completed at least 12 QCC college credits.

In other PTK news, PTK members have also been working hard to help others and make a difference in their community. Members voted to once again donate much needed diapers and personal hygiene products to the QCC HomePlate Food Pantry and Resource Center.

One prime example of their commitment to community service was during the recent January 29 snowstorm, when many PTK students reached out to their elderly neighbors and shoveled them out.
