QCC Showed Its Holiday Spirit

Last month QCC at Southbridge had a visit from the Grinch.
The winners of the "Score the Door" contest.
QCC at Southbridge had a visit from none other than the Grinch himself! The holiday favorite made his appearance just before the winter break and brought smiles to the faces of students, faculty and staff.
The folks at QCC’s Healthcare and Workforce Development Center in Worcester, not to mention the Welcome Desk and Front Desk Security staff, started a new holiday tradition while remaining socially distant and safe.
How did they remain socially distance and still have fun? By participating in what they have aptly named “Score the Door!” Healthcare Program Assistant Stefanie Parker said 30 faculty and staff signed up to participate in this event that required participants to decorate their doors between December 1 and December 8.
Prizes were awarded to first and second place winners who were chosen by students, faculty and staff. Only one vote per person was allowed.
“A little way to destress around the holidays,” Ms. Parker said.
The event was such a success it looks like it may become an annual event!
