Veteran Affairs Honors 20th Anniversary Commemoration of 9/11

QCC’s Veteran Affairs is asking everyone to wear an article of red clothing on Friday, Sept. 10, to mark the 20th anniversary of the September 11 attacks and to show solidarity for deployed U.S. military service members. A tradition in many military communities is to wear red on Friday to, ‘Remember Everyone Deployed (R.E.D.).’

Veteran Affairs is asking that students, faculty and staff honor the thousands killed in the 9/11 attack, and recognize those who risked their lives to save others in the wake of the attacks by this non-political show of remembrance.
