June ushers in the start of summer. Make the most of yours and look into a summer II class at QCC. Classes begin July 6.
Monday, June 7: COVID-19 testing is available in the QCC Athletic Center (670 West Boylston St. Worcester)Mondays, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and Tuesdays, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. through the end of June. Appointments are not required - testing is on a drop-in basis.
Friday, June 18: The College will be closed in observance of Juneteenth Independence Day (June 19). This year, Juneteenth falls on a Saturday, therefore, QCC will close Friday. This is the first year that Massachusetts, along with many other states and cities, is honoring the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the end of slavery in the United States. Please make Juneteenth a day of deep reflection.
Wednesday, June 30: The last day of Summer I classes/exams. Summer II Classes begin July 6.
June Spotlight: ‘Your Voice Matters: Community Conversations’ hosted by the President’s Advisory Council on Equity (PACE) will continue to take place throughout the summer, every Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. via Zoom. “Your Voice Matters: Community Conversations” is an opportunity for members of the QCC college community to engage in open dialogue around equity. All are welcome to join in this opportunity to explore and exchange perspectives in a safe space, or come to listen, learn, and support colleagues.
