QCC Welcomes New Faculty & Staff

August 2018

We are very pleased to announce the addition of the following new full-time staff members to Quinsigamond Community College:

On August 12, 2018, Facilities welcomed Zachary Nichols into a new role as a Skilled Laborer (Grounds). Zachary brings over 6 years laborer experience to this position. Most recently, he was the Owner/Foreman of Nichols Services, L.L.C. Additionally, Zachary served as the Foreman/Laborer for Mullins & Armington Landscape Associates, Inc. for 3 years.

On August 19, 2018, Admissions welcomed Eduardo Rivas-Rosales into his new role as Enrollment Counselor. Eduardo brings to this position over 6 years’ experience of tutoring students and teaching at the college level here at Quinsigamond Community College. Eduardo has served as a Math Tutor on campus since 2012 and most recently has worked in the roles of a Math Learning Specialist and Math/Accounting Adjunct Faculty Member. Additionally, he was the Subject Matter Expert for the Massachusetts Community College System and the Site Coordinator for the Vita Program at the Main South Community Development Corporation in Worcester. Eduardo earned a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Accounting and minor in Mathematics /Information Technology from Assumption College, a Masters Degree with a concentration in Finance/Economics and Accounting from Assumption College and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies with a concentration in Management, also from Assumption College.

On August 26, 2018, Nursing welcomed  Ana Dexter, Assistant Professor of Associate Nursing Degree, PN Program (Evening)  - Ana is moving from the A.D.N. program (day) to the A.D.N. program (evening). Ana brings to this position over 8 years of health care education and clinical experience. Most recently, she was the Associate Degree Nurse Educator (day program) for Quinsigamond Community College. Ana earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at Worcester State University and a Master of Science in Nursing from also from Worcester State University. 

On August 26, 2018, Nursing welcomed Christian Ilustre, Assistant Professor of Associate Nursing Degree, PN Program – Christian brings to this position over 15 years of teaching and clinical experience. Most recently, he was an adjunct faculty member for Quinsigamond Community College. Christian earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from University of Iloilo and Master of Science in Nursing with specialization in Education from Walden University.

On August 26, 2018, Nursing welcomed Sandra Martin, Assistant Professor of Associate Nursing Degree, PN Program- Sandra brings to this position over 7 years of teaching and clinical experience. Most recently, she was a Visiting Professor with the Department of Nursing at Worcester State University. Sandra earned her Bachelor’s in Science in Psychology and Education from Worcester State College and a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Nursing Education from Worcester State University..

On August 26, 2018, Nursing welcomed Chau Nguyen, Assistant Professor of Associate Nursing Degree, PN Program – Chau has over 5 years of teaching and clinical experience. Most recently, Chau served as an adjunct faculty member for Quinsigamond Community College. Chau earned an Associate Degree in Nursing at Mount Wachusett Community College, a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Framingham State University, and a Master of Science in Nursing from Framingham State University.

On August 26, 2018, Radiologic Technology​ welcomed Susan Whittiers, Assistant Professor of Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology Program – Susan brings to this position over 25 years of clinical experience. Most recently, Susan serves as the Mammographer, Staff Educator, Radiographer and Breast Sonographer at Health Alliance Hospital, part of UMASS Memorial Healthcare. Susan received an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology from Quinsigamond Community College and a Bachelor’s in Science in Health Studies from Worcester State College.

On August 27, 2018, Advanced Manufacturing and Digital Fabrication welcomed Nicholas Bold into his new full time role as Advanced Manufacturing and Digital Fabrication Learning Resources Manager. Most recently, Nicholas was the Fab Lab/CNC Lab Manager here at QCC on a part time basis. Previous to this role, he was the Founder, President and Executive Director of Technocpoia. Nicholas earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Worcester State University.
