September Look Ahead

Monday, Sept. 3: Labor Day. The college is closed.

Tuesday, Sept. 4: All College Day - Looking Toward the Future will be held for all faculty and staff in the Hebert Auditorium.The day will begin with a continental breakfast at 8:00 a.m. The formal program will commence at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at 11:45 a.m. All main campus offices will open at noon and QCC Southbridge and the QCC's downtown location (25 Federal Street, Worcester) will open at 12:30 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 5: Make sure and stop by the QCC Welcome Fair beginning at 11:30 a.m. located outside on the Quad! 

Wednesday & Thursday, Sept. 5 & 6: Welcome Back! Fall semester has begun. Look for the Ask Me Information Tables located in the lobby of the Administration building on the main campus and in the Student Fuller Center  from 8:00 a.m. - noon and 2:00 p.m. 6:00 p.m.This is the place for students to go for any questions they may have on the first days of classes.

September Spotlight: WOMEN’S SELF-DEFENSE -  A 12- hour Rape Aggression Defense Class R.A.D. presented by Quinsigamond Campus Police will be held at QCC's Athletic Center Basketball Court.

You must attend all sessions to complete the course. This course is free to the QCC community.

Classes are on:

• September 18 – 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
• September 20 – 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
• September 25 – 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
• September 27 – 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Please bring a water bottle, wear athletic clothes and do not bring jewelry. If you are under 18, contact Campus Police in advance to fill out parental consent forms. Registration is required.
